Style tips for women with a rectangle body shape

The Rectangle body shape is also sometimes described as a ruler. This shape is fairly straight up and down, with no area much bigger or smaller than any other.

If you are a Rectangle shape, your key to looking good is to try and create curves with your clothing. As youre similar proportions all over theres no one real problem area though – lucky you!

Your straight shape will look great in structured coats and jackets. If you like a longer length coat, one that cinches in at the waist and then flares out is perfect. All belted styles will work well for creating those curves.

Make sure you wear the best bra that you can whatever your bust size, and make sure you are wearing your correct size. A full cup, underwired bra will give you the best shape if youve a big bust. If you need a little help in that department try a lightly padded or push up bra. The better supported your bust is, the more curvy you will look. A corset is the ultimate underwear for creating curves it will cinch that waist, bust your bust and emphasise those hips!

Heels are always flattering of course. Go as high as you dare! The heels will make your legs look more shapely and push those hips forward. And remember, walk tall shoulders back, head high, no slouching. When it comes to looking good in your clothes, this really can work wonders!
